7/6/25

7/6/25 - Are you still struggling with a Hard Heart?

Last week we heard the pharisees complain that the disciples of Jesus did not keep the tradition of washing. The washing was not just washing your hands before you eat, this was a wash that kept them from being defiled spiritually by touching someone who is unclean. Jesus taught us last week that what defiles us is what comes out of us. It is in us already. Then Jesus fleshed that out for the disciples with the Gentile woman begging to cast the unclean spirit from her daughter and then healed the deaf and mute man by sticking his fingers in his ears and touching his tongue. He was touching the unclean in places where we do not touch anyone.

Today we have our second bread miracle.
