Last week we looked at Mary preparing the body of Jesus for burial. We also looked at Judas mad over the cost of the ointment Mary used for this. When we compared Mary to Judas, this is what we seen, Mary loved, Judas hated, Mary believed, Judas rejected, Mary was generous, Judas was greedy, Mary was a giver, Judas was a thief, Mary was genuine, Judas was fake, Mary was Humble, Judas was arrogant, Mary was loyal, Judas was a betrayer, Mary was joyful, Judas was angry.

This week is divided into three sections. In the first section Jesus continues addressing the betrayal of Judas. In the third section Jesus tells of his death and resurrection, and the disciples will be scattered and Peter will deny him.

Today I want us to look at the first and last section of todays text and then look at the middle section last.
