10/19/25 - Mark 14:1-16
Last week we saw the chief Priest and scribes and the whole council, bind Jesus and take him to Pilate and make many false accusations against him. We saw them persuade the crowd to crucify Jesus. On Sunday He was king, on Thursday he was worthy of crucifixion. They did not see. They could not see. The mockery began. First it was the soldier’s making fun of the king of the Jews. Next it was those who passed by, saying He said he would tear down the temple and raise it in three days. Next it was the Chief Priest and scribes saying come down and then we will believe. Lastly it was those who were being crucified with Him. None of them could see who Jesus was. They were blind. But today we begin to see this change. We begin to see people’s eyes opened.
