5/4/25 - Repent and Believe in Jesus

In this chapter there are four different groups of people. In verses 7-12 we have the crowds coming to him for healing and freedom from demons. In verses 13-21 we have the apostles being chosen by Jesus. In verses 20-21 and 31-35 we have his family and Jesus defining who his family is. Just because you come to Jesus for healing or receive a miracle from him does not make you a part of the family, Jesus is so kind and compassionate to the needs of people he brings healing in their life, just because you blood related to Jesus does not make you part of the family, Jesus says his family are those who do the will of God. This morning we are going to spend our time looking at verses 22-30. These verses can be difficult to explain and weighty to sit under. From time to time I feel a message God has for us is so weighty I should sit in humility.
