Humility is to have a low view of one’s importance. Can we continue this message by asking how important we think we are. Will you think about that for a moment. Have you ever seen the illustration where you place your hand in a bucket of water and as long as it takes for the water to return to what it was before you stuck your hand in the bucket is how important you are. Really what it says, is we are not important. None of us are important. God has been doing his work for a very long time without us. If all of us are taken out today, He will continue His work. I want to take this a step further, if New Horizon was to cease to be a church, the church of Jesus would continue as it did the 2000 years before we existed. The only one who is important is the Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
