11/30/25 - Mark 16:9-20
We started the book of Mark on February 2, and we are finishing it November 30. What a blessing Mark has been. I thought about asking you what part of Mark had the greatest impact on you. But I don’t think we have that much time, but it would be a good way for each of us to meditate on the scripture today.
Mark finishes this letter like he wrote it. In verses 1-8, Mark writes the pinnacle of the Deity of Jesus. His Resurrection was the greatest evidence of His deity. It was the purpose of the letter. We know that believing Jesus is the Son of God gives us life and the right to become children of God. In verses 9-14 Mark writes about unbelief and hardness of heart. It is what we battle. It is what those that loved him and followed him battled. Unbelief, hardness of heart and the influence of this world. In verses 15-20 Jesus commissions his disciples and us to go and preach the Gospel and promises, authority, provision, protection and most important His presence.
