7/20/25 - I Believe. Help my unbelief! Mark 9:14-29
Last week we looked at the disciples, seeing but then not seeing fully, understanding but not understanding fully. There was two points from last week.
1. When you come to Christ for salvation, you must deny your understanding of what it takes for you to become a follower of Christ and come to him believing He is the Christ, the son of God, trusting his understanding, his finished works for your salvation.
2. Mark 8:34-38
This week our focus is on a Father whose son is possessed by demon that seems to be different, more powerful than others. And the disciples who are learning to lean not on their own understanding.
